Come and join us as we cross PNG from Coast to Coast by bike and foot as we complete the entire length of the Kokoda Track fromSanananda on the North Coast to Port Moresby on the South Coast.

Our Coast to Coast Challenge will be one the greatest adventures and challenges of your life, come and join us! This is an exclusive event. There are limited places and a high fitness and Endurance level is required.

Our packages are designed to eliminate any hidden extras and to make the logistics and organising of your trek hassle free and great value for money. Our senior guides are experienced and they love to share their knowledge of PNG history and the culture of their Country.
Our food is fresh and delicious and prepared by our cooks on the track or village for you. We do not use dehydrated food or ration packs. Each night we will stay in local villages adding to the ambience of the experience.
Day 1 Fly from Port Moresby to Popendetta, and then transfer down to Sanananda Guest house where we enjoy the beautiful scenery and friendly villages. In Sanananda we prepare our bikes and gear for the challenge ahead. Dinner is on the beach, watching the sunset as we contemplate the journey ahead

Day 2
After breakfast an early start to our journey along bumpy tracks and trails and past many beautiful villages, streams and Jungle scenery. We pass back through Popendetta onto Awala before crossing the Kumusi River and making camp in the Village of Pisa.
We ride over 80 kms today for approximately 9 hours.

Day 3
An early start today has us doing the final 40 kms into Kokoda. We pass through the wartime villages of Gorari and Oivi, before arriving in Kokoda around lunch time.
After packing up our bikes, we have lunch before beginning our trek across the track. Today we will walk to the Village of Deniki which will take us approximately 3 hours.

Day 4
Today we have a big walk, trekking from Deniki to Iora Creek. On our way we pass through the Isurava Battlesite and Alola Village before crossing the Iora Creek River into camp. Today’s walk will take us around 11 hours.

Day 5
Our walk today is tough as we continue to climb over the highest point of the track at 2190m, through the moss forest and down into Naduri Village.
A big walk today of about 12 hours.

Day 6
We continue our early morning start and continue on through the Villages of Efogi 2 and 1, across Brigade Hill, down through the Village of Menari and finally onto our camp at Agulogo.
Another big 12 hour day.

Day 7
We leave the camp early and begin our climb up through Nauro and across the Maguli Range. We descend the Range down to Ofi creek before our final climb of the day up Iorabaiwa Ridge then down into camp at Iorabaiwa Village.
Once again another big 12 hour day.

Day 8
Today is our last day on the track with just two climbs to get us to Owers Corner. Our first is up and over Imita Ridge followed by our final climb to Owers Corner.
We enjoy the triumph of crossing the track before we reassemble our bikes and start our bike journey to the village of Vesulogo.
Today is about a 9 hour day.

Day 9 It is hard to believe that this is our last day of the challenge. We have a fast ride to Sogeri Junction before we commence a very steep descent to the bottom of the plateau.On our way to Port Moresby we stop in at the Bomana War Cemetery and pay our respect to the fallen soldiers.We have a fast ride from here into town and onto the Port Moresby Yacht Club.
Our last day is a 6 hour ride.

- Anti-malarial medication or inoculations as recommended by your Doctor
- Personal first aid and personal care items
- Medical Assessment (Kokoda Spirit will provide each person with a Doctors letter to take your local Doctor)
- Visa for entry to PNG
- Passport
- Personal expenses in Port Moresby (e.g. telephone calls, drinks, meals, room service etc)
- Extra night’s accommodation in Port Moresby
- Trekking Gear List items (excluding above items)
- Personal Porter $650 (to carry your rucksack or backpack – highly recommended)
