Charity Fundraising Kokoda Adventures
Kokoda Spirit is the leading provider of Kokoda adventure treks across the Kokoda Track in PNG and the operator of some of the World’s Greatest Adventures. We at Kokoda Spirit saw a need to provide an opportunity for our adventurers to experience raw, explorative and challenging adventures while contributing to worthwhile and purposeful projects, charities and fundraising organisations overseas and in Australia.
Our adventures are designed for individual participation, groups, teams, sporting groups, community groups or corporate organisations looking for significant and worthwhile ways to raise funds whilst participating in exciting and challenging adventures.
You can fundraise and join one of our major charity adventures or develop and design your own project. This is a fantastic way for individuals or groups to raise funds for community, group, club or other worthwhile projects. You nominate the adventure you want to do and the amount that you wish to raise and we make it happen.
Kokoda Spirit provides a comprehensive and complete professional travel and fundraising service from the development of the idea, through to the logistics, implementation and final success of the project.
Some of our community groups and charities that have trekked with us have included; PNG Cricket, Kokoda Village Reader project, PNG Village Gardener project, National Breast Cancer Foundation (Kokoda Chicks), Breast Cancer Care WA, Blind Courage (Guide Dogs Australia), Heart Foundation, Coca Cola, Zing, Victorian RSL, VECCI, Credit Union Foundation Australia (CUFA), Autism Victoria, Aspergers Group, Mission Australia, Centre Stage Management, Qantas, 500 Club, EFM and Centacare Catholic Family Services.
Kokoda Spirit also supports and sponsors the Sunshine Coast ‘Give Me 5 for Kids’ program.
Kokoda Spirit also supports the Kokoda Track Foundation as a Gold Trek Operator Partner.

Hi Wayne,
Thank you for sending through your contribution for our book. Awesome.
Our Kokoda Experience was everything I expected...and MORE!!
The girls had the ULTIMATE experience out along the track.
For me personally it was 'déjà vu' re-tracing my footsteps. With this previous trekking experience with you I was also able to present the girls with history knowledge and understanding of how to get the most from their Kokoda Experience.
My congratulations to you on the organisation of our entire adventure.
Sai was a SENSATIONAL Trek Master and all his crew went above and beyond in everything they did. Please convey my personal thank you to Sai.
The food was exceptional; the porters were especially warm, kind, thoughtful, caring and helpful.
Their attention to detail, the extra activities such as making a stretcher out of wood and vines and bandaging one of their own including tomato sauce for simulated blood, along with a fire making demonstration...were things I did not experience first time around.
The food they supplied and cooked was amazing, even baking a cake for my daughters 21st celebration...just incredible.
We all had so much FUN!!
I do believe Sai may have been some what apprehensive when told he was to lead a group of 13 Women across the track, his first ever all female group, however, I believe we totally surprised him with our fitness, speed and determination to not only complete the trek with ease, without any issues but to also have so much fun on the journey.
I was thrilled to meet on my very first day, Daxi, who was my husbands porter on our last trip and then Teddy, the school teacher at Menari who portered on my last trip.
Of course at this moment I am making heavy use of a large scrubbing brush as I endeavour to clean all my gear and also organising the wind up of all our fundraising and preparations for our Welcome Home Event.
We have topped $120K with more coming in so our event has been a total success.
With many enquires as to when I will be taking another trip, I will be looking into this very soon.
Once again, I thank you all for making this a Life Changing Experience for our group of intrepid trekkers.
Warm Regards
Janette
