G’day Wayne,

Just wanted to pass on my thanks for a seamless and well run adventure across the Kokoda track from arriving into Port Moresby airport, checking into our hotel, the huge march itself and leaving at the end. It was challenging and uplifting and I’m sure if it wasn’t for our amazing Kokoda Spirit team we would have found it very difficult to complete.

Special mention goes to my unofficial porter, Moses, who saved me on multiple occasions on the slippery track. If it wasn’t for him, me and my pack may not have made it to Owers Corner. Sai was excellent as well.

P.s. I work at Sydney’s navy base in confined space rescue. A bloke I work with, Brent York, says he used to race you back in your earlier days at school. He wanted to say hi.

Thanks again. Look forward to taking on the challenge again in a few years to hike the track the other way up to Kokoda.
